There are two main methods for filling potholes: throw-and-go and throw-and-roll. Throw-and-go involves a company filling the pothole with a material and then having traffic go over the material to compact it in the hole. Throw-and-roll isn’t too different from throw-and-go but requires a truck to compact the filling material.
It can take 20 – 30 minutes to fill a pothole. The overall time of each individual project will vary depending on the number potholes on the property that need to be filled.
